Iowa’s School Choice Program Expands

The American Federation for Children, the nation’s voice for educational choice, today applauded the Iowa Legislature for both chambers unanimously passing House Bill 225, which increases the amount of tax credits School Tuition Organizations (STO) can receive, from $8.75 million to $12 million a year.

The American Federation for Children praises all Arizona legislators for ensuring ESA funds are being used properly and adding needed accountability measures to the one-of-a-kind program. Empowerment Scholarship Accounts allow Arizona parents to take unprecedented control over their children’s education.
