By Louise’s mom, Kristy:
Louise is an extraordinary and active young lady who is excelling in the Catholic school setting at Annunciation School in Bogalusa, Louisiana. She enjoys math and reading. She also attends dancing school, art at the local YMCA, and is part of the reading club at the library.
I chose for Louise to attend Annunciation School because of the small classroom settings. She is also able to receive a faith-based curriculum, teaching morals that public schools cannot. Annunciation School has small classroom sizes making the teacher more available to work with each child individually. The faith-based curriculum has made Louise more compassionate towards others. The wonderful teachers and staff have been so kind and welcoming to our daughter.
“Having the choice of schools for Louise means so much to my family because she is getting the education she deserves in a place where she is in a happy learning environment and thriving.”
Louise received a scholarship to attend Annunciation School through the Louisiana Scholarship Program. Receiving this scholarship has helped our family not to have another financial burden that could limit things deemed necessary for her future. We couldn’t be more thankful for such a wonderful opportunity for our daughter.
I believe more families should be allowed the same privilege in receiving scholarships like the Louisiana Scholarship because a lot of parents struggle financially to send their children to private schools. Having the choice of schools for Louise means so much to my family because she is getting the education she deserves in a place where she is in a happy learning environment and thriving. My message to others is to not give up on your child’s future because of financial reasons. Their education is our future and they deserve a head start.
