By Keon’s Mom, Johanna:
My child, Keon, is very active, and he loves to learn. He loves all type of sports, and he likes to explore and try new things; he is not afraid of anything.
Keon is in the 7th grade at Concordia Lutheran School in Marrero, Louisiana. I chose Concordia Lutheran because I know for a fact it is a good school. The teachers and staff really care about the kids. The school focuses on providing a good education and teaching respect and discipline. The teachers are good at teaching the children and make sure that they are successful and learn. The classes at Concordia are small and the environment is good. Because of these things, the children are willing and eager to learn. The teachers and children also respect each which adds to the success of the students.
“I know Keon will be successful in life because of the education at Concordia and the caring staff they have.”
Having Keon attend Concordia on a scholarship from Louisiana Scholarship Program has made a big difference in my family and in Keon. I love the private school because of the smaller environment and classroom setting. I also loved getting to choose which schools was best for Keon and having the opportunity to pick a school and not getting stuck with just one choice school. I know Keon will be successful in life because of the education at Concordia and the caring staff they have.
