My name is Shaniyah Butler, and I’m 14 years old. I consider myself an intelligent and smart person. I love learning how to do new things. I’m a hands-on person because I enjoy learning and doing with my hands.

I chose KIPP Leadership Primary because I was told by my friends that this was a very good school so I chose to check it out for myself. When I tell you that I don’t regret it, you can believe that. It is a great school because the teachers care about me as a person. They take their time with me learning and they don’t rush me. Second, the students are wonderful because they treat me like family; they don’t criticize or talk about me and they help me. Third, the atmosphere at KIPP is great because it feels like home and it’s the kind of atmosphere that I’m used to. It helps me learn because I am comfortable.
I feel it is important that parents and students get to choose their school because you shouldn’t have to have money to get an education. Regardless of your parent’s income status, a child should be able to learn at whatever school they choose and where they will do best.
I am happy that I attend this school. I’ve learned a lot and gained a lot of new friends along the way. I would advise anyone that wants a family oriented environment to come to KIPP LEADERSHIP PRIMARY. It is the place for you.
