I’ve been involved in school choice advocacy since elementary school, when I received a scholarship to attend a private school. This experience opened my eyes to the benefits of having educational options and set me on a path of advocating for all families to have the same opportunities.

My initial involvement and desire to become an advocate for school choice were sparked by my own educational experience. Receiving a scholarship to attend a private school during elementary school showed me firsthand how access to different educational opportunities can profoundly impact a student’s life.

This personal experience made me passionate about ensuring that all families have the freedom to choose the best educational path for their children.

My message to other advocates: Stay passionate about what you believe; education is paramount. It’s through our collective passion and dedication that we can advocate for educational equity and empower every child with the opportunities they deserve.
