I have lived in Milwaukee my whole life. I started going to a private school when I was in pre-k, but in third grade I left the private school and moved into Milwaukee Public Schools. I came back to Saint Anthony my sophomore year in high school.
Many of my cousins attended Saint Anthony as well and graduated from the school. They wanted to attend private school because they wanted a better education.
I believe that my education has impacted my life a great deal already. At this point, it’s my last year in high school and I realize that I have to make it count. I believe that attending a private school can make you become more successful. I say that because private schools have high standards for education levels. It’s shown that most students who attend a private school graduate from high school early or on time.
My future plan is to continue my education at Milwaukee Area Technical College, where I will study criminal justice so that I can become a detective.
I believe parents should be able to pick an option for school because they only want what’s best for their children. Parents want their children to succeed and become a greater and better person. Going to the right school helps make that possible.
