Gillum serves as Director of Political Strategy.
Gillum brings experience from numerous roles at the intersection of politics and public policy in Washington, DC, North Carolina, and Tennessee. His background includes positions at the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Senate, the Tennessee governor’s office, and the Tennessee Republican Party. He has also managed and worked on multiple successful political campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels.
Gillum previously served as communications director for AFC – Tennessee during the successful legislative session to enact the state’s first Education Savings Account program.
Gillum is a graduate of the University of Virginia and resides with his wife in Arlington, Virginia.
