Greetings, I’m Lacrecia Andrus , I have a 7 year old son, Braedyn, who attends Family Worship Christian Academy.
FWCA is a small, yet growing, private school located in Opelousas, LA. My family and I are so thankful for the scholarships Louisiana provides because it helps open multiple doors for a great education.
Tuition alone is a burden for most. Paying $500+ a month for an elementary education is a lot of money. There have been plenty of times where I had to choose between paying for a 1st grader’s education or paying a bill! Most parents would have chosen to pay a bill.
I was so determined that my son had the best education that money could buy. That’s why I’m so grateful for such an amazing and exceptional program presented itself.
FWCA was also very helpful with providing knowledge and understanding about the scholarship program. I believe that’s the best thing Louisiana could have done for parents like me.
A heavy burden has been lifted off of me and my family. I’m so appreciative to Louisiana for this gift and I can’t say it enough!
