My name is Madisyn Semien, and I attend Family Worship Christian Academy on the Louisiana Scholarship Program. I have been there for nine years. I have made amazing friends and am 12 years old. I am in the 7th grade and love my school!
The teachers and staff have helped me achieve my goals of growing smarter and advancing to a new grade every year. The teachers care about the students learning and our grades. They take time to work one on one with us even after school and recess if we need help. They are encouraging and give examples we can understand when we need help with problems. The teachers also care about my feelings, safety and what I can accomplish. They support my dreams and have been there for me since I started Pre-K.
I am very thankful for being in the Louisiana Scholarship Program because I have become smarter ever since attending Family Worship Christian Academy. Attending my school has been very good because The Louisiana Scholarship Program has affected my overall view of school because I now know that I have someone other than my teachers who support me through high school. I have made amazing friends because of FWCA. They count everyone in and make sure no one is left out.
