I’ve been attending St. Vincent private school since I was in third grade, and I am currently enrolled in Bourgade Catholic. I honestly am so grateful not only because I’ve met my amazing friends but because I’ve learned so much. Choosing a private school has brought me closer to God and made me stronger mentally. I’ve had opportunities that public school student don’t have, such as going on a mission trip to Mexico to help build houses for others! The classes are a bit harder but I feel pushed to do my best.

It is important that all families, regardless of income, can choose the right school for their child. When I grow older I want my kid to attend a private school. I know they will prepare them well, just like they did with me. Kids get better opportunities and be surrounded by better people. I’ve never encountered bullying in private schools, which is a major problem kids go through in school. That’s important because parents want a healthy and the secure environment for their kid.
