My name is Ala’sha King, and I am in the sixth grade at Family Worship Christian Academy in Opelousas, Louisiana. I received a scholarship from the Louisiana Scholarship Program to attend school, and the scholarship really helped me and my family a lot.
Next, I feel so special for getting this scholarship. The only people I know to thank are my principal and my teacher. When school for me started I was going to a different school and I was getting bullied there. My mom told me that I got a scholarship to attend FWCA. I was astonished and overcome with happiness.
When I started Family Worship Christian Academy, it was like a new beginning. I made awesome friends and have great teachers in my classes. I also want to thank my principal, Alysia Richard and the state of Louisiana. I just want to thank everyone and say God Bless.
