My child, Alexis Hebert, is 11 years old and loves her school! Alexis is in the 5th grade at St. Angela Merici in Metairie, Louisiana. She enjoys sports, drawing and reading and has been making new friends since kindergarten.
As Alexis’ mother, I chose St. Angela because it had a great fundamental structure for my child, and I always wanted Alexis to attend a Catholic school. The scholarship from the Louisiana Scholarship Program has made a difference in Alexis’ life because she has grown and learned more about her faith. It has taught her how to be strong. In addition to the Catholic education at St. Angela, Alexis also receives hands on education from the wonderful teachers; they go above and beyond to give her the best education, and she is able to participate in sports.
We have had such a great experience at St. Angela. I believe more families should have the same privilege as we have to choose a good school. All children deserve a great education and the chance to learn and grow with god and the teachers that that shape their lives. If your child gets to have a catholic education like Alexis, you are blessed.
