Lealon is a very sweet and caring boy. He is on the spectrum. He needs ABA-based therapy to help him overcome all his needs.
Three things I love about Breakthrough Academy are they are an ABA based school, they use technology for teaching, and they care for every child that walks through the door with specific needs. ABA is therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. They use this technique to be data-driven to make every day a reason to expand and create for the kids they work with. Every staff member teaches each child who attend based on their specific social, communication, reading, and academics skills.
My son has been going to this school for two and a half years and has made amazing progress in his social skills, communication with other peers, reading, and behavioral issues.

I believe more families should have the same privilege I’ve had in exercising school choice. More families deserve a chance to get what their child needs. not every school has the option to work with each child’s needs specifically. Every child deserves a chance to be able to exceed in everything they do. Having more options available for each child will give them a chance to find out what fits them in this crazy world.
School choice to me means I have the opportunity to find the school that will not only academically advance my child, but accept them for who they are. It allows me to find a school that will teach based on how my child can learn and help them along the way.
