I am a mother of five who has sent four children through high school using the voucher, and I am currently sending my last one through high school using the voucher. For me the voucher was a God send that came when my oldest daughter was in high school.
My oldest daughter was at Milwaukee Lutheran and my husband and I could barely afford to send her there. So, I homeschooled my two youngest and paid for my oldest until the voucher was introduced.

When the voucher was introduced, we switched my oldest over to HOPE Christian High School where the voucher was accepted. From there the rest of the children followed.
The choice program is amazing and does exactly what it says it will: gives parents a choice. We pay taxes and we should have a choice of where our children are educated and what type of education they receive. Without the choice program there would not have been a way for us to afford the options we wanted for our children.
I attended private school all my life and my husband attended private school for all of his schooling. It was my husband’s insistence that we send our children to private school because he recognized the difference in the educational experiences. We need the choice to choose a better future for our children, we need school choice!
